Several photos of the EBT-related displays at the Bethpage Long Island NY Model Train Show, Saturday January 18, 2003.

This was my display about the East Broad Top Railroad, showing the historical EBT, current EBT operations, and restoration work being done by the Friends of the East Broad Top. FEBT provided handout materials and also gave me permission to show the video "The East Broad Top - A Living Landmark".

Nearby was this G scale operating layout, featuring Walter Poppe's #11 and coaches, and his scratch-built Timber Transfer crane and Mt. Union water tank.

Another view of Walter Poppe's EBT train and Timber Transfer crane.

OK, I know it's not strictly EBT-related, but our friends at the Rockhill Trolley Museum will appreciate a few photos of an O-scale modular trolley layout on display at this show. This modular layout was built by members of the Long Island Traction Society.

The overhead wire is used to power the trolleys on this layout. Soft copper wire clips are used to bridge the overhead wire at the module junctions.

A small fan watches the trolley ride by.
